Meet the Cast of: Always...Patsy Cline!
Patsy Cline, Director: Sam Baldwin
Sam is thrilled to be back at the Labyrinth for her 3rd production. You may recognize her from Trivia: The Musical or Shakespeare Abridged. Don’t worry, there is a lot less vomit this time.
After working professionally for many years, Sam is now taking on her favorite role. Mom to Jack, Wesley, Arlo and Lucy. Some other favorites are Diana in Next To Normal (PVTC) Kathy in Last Five Years (PVTC) LouAnn in Hairspray (Candlelight) and Liesl in Sound of Music (Candlelight).
Sam is so excited to share the true story of Patsy Cline and Louise Seger alongside Jen Hanna for the second time, after a successful run in Fort Morgan in 2023. Sam wants to thank the production staff at the Labyrinth for giving us a place to bring this story to Greeley.
She also wants to thank her husband Kyle who does not make her “Crazy” and of course, all of you for supporting live theatre.

Louise Seger: Jennifer Carrier Hanna
Jennifer is overjoyed to be making her Labyrinth debut and to bring this incredible true story to audiences in Greeley!
Favorite regional credits include Phyllis in 42nd Street (Candlelight), Peron’s Mistress in Evita (Candlelight), Mayzie LaBird in Seussical (Ignite), Holly in The Wedding Singer (Up In Lights), Tammy in Hairspray (Candlelight), and Tricia in A Chorus Line (Ignite).
Big thanks to Broc and her super-supportive family, and to the amazing production team at Labyrinth. Jennifer is especially grateful to the incomparable Sam Baldwin for bringing her along for the ride one more time.

Joe Bob: Eli Schamane, Piano
Eli Schamane serves as the Principal Choral Seat for First Congregational Church of Greeley and is the Collaborative Pianist for the Northern Colorado Trans Choir, the Northern Colorado Queer choir, and the Gilmore Voice Studio.
They are thrilled to be joining the Labyrinth for their fourth show. Their previous shows include Sideshow, Violet Hilton; The Complete Works of Shakespeare Abridged (revised) [again], Jesse; Fool; Into the Woods, The Mysterious Man/Narrator; The Minutes, Ms. Matz; and The Laramie Project.
Eli is a regularly featured soprano soloist with the First Congregational Church Chancel Choir, with their most recent performances including Oratorio de Noël, by Camille Saint-Saëns, the Western Hemisphere debut performance of The Ice is Listening by Cecilia McDowall, and featured works from The Creation by Haydn.
Billy Bob: Tony Colbert Ruiz, Guitar
Tony Colbert Ruiz, originally a Colorado Native, now lives in Los Angeles California. Tony is an active member in several local Los Angeles bands, as both a guitarist and a drummer. Band credits include, Buttercup Nebula, Patience Victoria, Spencer Breslin & The After Hours, Alex Goff Rocks, as well as other various collaborations.
Tony has had the honor of playing various venues throughout Los Angeles including the Historic Viper Room in Hollywood.
Tony also has a background in Colorado theater and stage production with various companies including Lost Marble Theatrics, Encore! Encore!, and the Loveland Choral Society.
This is Tony’s first time performing with The Labyrinth Theater and Tony is very excited to be brought on board for the performance of, “Always… Patsy Cline”.
Jay Bob: Julia Colbert Ruiz, Bass
Julia Colbert Ruiz has loved the theatre since age 2, when she played an ant in her church musical. She spent much of her childhood performing with Colorado theatre companies, such as Lost Marbles Theatrics, Fort Collins Children's Theatre, Loveland Opera Theatre, and Windsor Community Playhouse.
Some of her favorite roles include Munchkin/Jitterbug/Poppy in The Wizard of Oz, and one of the Spirits in The Magic Flute, because she got to ride on a flying bicycle. Today, she lives in Los Angeles and can be seen playing bass with local bands like Buttercup Nebula and Spencer Breslin & The After Hours.
She also cannot be seen, but her presence can be felt in the background of many of today's hit movies and tv shows.
"Always...Patsy Cline!" is her debut with The Labyrinth, and she is so excited to bring Jay Bob to life!
Ray Bob: Chaeli Fischer, Fiddle
Chaeli Fischer is a musician and educator in the Northern Colorado area. She is proud to be woven into Greeley’s community in many ways because of its strong support for arts, music, and diverse culture.
She received her Master of Music in Music Education and Bachelor of Arts in Music degrees from the University of Northern Colorado in 2017 and 2015. Her time at UNC offered an array of musical experiences while studying violin and viola including chamber music recitals, performing a variety of musical genres and styles in the University Symphony Orchestra, and leadership opportunities serving for five years as an officer of the UNC chapter of the American String Teachers Association.
In college she also studied Spanish and earned a minor in Environmental & Sustainability Studies. Greeley has offered Mrs. Fischer constant avenues to pursue her passion for music through teaching and performing. She currently teaches at Chappelow K-8 Arts Magnet School, directing middle school orchestras, choirs, and mariachi.
Chaeli plays violin in the Elevation String Quartet, regularly performs with local churches and schools, and previously performed as principal viola with the Loveland Orchestra and section viola with the Longmont Symphony.She has managed her own private lesson studio in the area since 2015 and also has experience teaching and assisting in various music camps in the region. She is now an assistant director of the Greeley Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, and hopes to start a youth Mariachi program for the area very soon.
When she’s not enjoying these many musical endeavors with students and colleagues, you can find her playing board games with friends, hiking in nature, attending local live music, or spending time with her husband, Eric, and their Boston Terrier, Mocha.
Bob Bob: Tony Ruiz Sr., Drums
Tony (Sr.) Tony is a Denver native and has played in several bands in the area, including nationally known Tom Slick show, the band Cinema, and 3 speed.
He moved to Pueblo in 2011 and again has played in locally known bands most recently Mid-Life Crisis and EXIT 101. He has performed for the Colorado State Fair and Pueblo Chili and Frejoles festivals. He has been playing drums and percussion since the age of 12.
He is very excited to perform with the Labyrinth Theatre group "Always Patsy Cline."
